Scanning and starting

I've been scanning tens of pictures and documents. I now realize the work this is going to be to structure this information and to discover and understand the life of those that manipulated these documents in the first place.

I will use tagging and try to be systematic in doing so by using the name of the person to which a document relates, and using the dates if available.

The documents are usually official documents like a passport, an embassy letter, but also for instance a newspaper section.

I will gradually put them on this site and hope to be able to give perspective and background.

Some documents do not seem at all related to my family.
